Asset bundles

Unity supports Assetbundles which allow scene data to be loaded / streamed at runtime. This is necessary if the application is a large file, to minimise loading times and improve the user experience.

The Immerse Platform does not currently provide a hosting service for assetbundles and must be hosted elsewhere.

Packed assetbundles are currently not supported on the WebGL platform.

How to use it

Follow Unity's own procedure to define and load Assetbundles . There are no special requirements to use them with the Immerse SDK.

When a build is made, all asset bundles can also be created - see Making a Build for more information.
