Understand the difference between the Free and Enterprise SDK

The manifest file contains information that is required when configuring a session for use with your application. For this reason, every application upload must include a manifest.

A manifest file (metadata.json) is automatically generated before a Unity build process begins. If the 'Zip Output' option is enabled in the Build Tools foldout, it will be also added to the archive.

Any settings contained in the manifest file can be edited from the Immerse SDK settings in the Unity Editor. For this reason, it is not advised to ever edit the manifest file manually as this can cause errors in the build validation step.
