Understand the difference between the Free and Enterprise SDK

The Orbit Camera component works independently of the Spectator Camera. Is is a simple, yet highly configurable, controller for a camera to allow it to rotate around a target.

Gizmos are displayed in the editor to provide visual feedback on the current settings

  • Red gizmo displays vertical rotation limits
  • Green gizmo displays horizontal rotation limits
  • Rings are added to show min/max distances

Description

Center

Center/focus position

Target

(Optional) Focus transform. This will override the Center value with the linked transform's position.

Collision

Enable collision detection to avoid camera intersecting with environment

Horizontal Offset

Offset the horizontal rotation (useful when Limit Horizontal Rotation is enabled)

Scroll Speed

Zoom in/out sensitivity

Distance

Current distance from the center point

Vertical Rotation

Current vertical rotation

Horizontal Rotation

Current horizontal rotation

Limit Distance

Restrict zoom in/out distance

Limit Vertical Rotation

Restrict vertical rotation

Limit Horizontal Rotation
